This is the cutest, coziest game I've ever played. I love the names so so much. Right now, I've adopted Pookie, Sage Kid Cat, Governor Goose and Lilo. At times it looks like they're running around and chasing each other, I love it!
love this game its so fun plus all of the goofy names l find it really good for my anxiety and ive always wanted a whole bunch of pet cats anyway one of my personal fav cat names is bishop shreck of the wise
Special events would be cool :D Ideas I have are a day and night cycle as Ookiamemoria suggested, but with behaviours changing (Like cats getting faster and hyper), maybe cats tracking dirt in (A little cleaning tool for the floors and cats would be cute), or little kittens visiting with their parent (Maybe needs can be harder to fill for the kitten parents so you get more coins?)
It took me a week of playing this game to realise you can also change the colors of the little icons at the top of the screen using the brush tool. Omg... this game has so many little details hidden around. It's made with so much love. Thank you for this
if you adopt a cat as it is leaving or readopt a cat, the cat leaves, wont give you coins but prevents you from getting new cats and leaves you wiht no other cats for a little, sometimes the non adopte cats will also want to play tag wiht nothing
the cats "playing tag" with nothing is actually them chasing your cursor! I think it looks different for people on mobile but if you're on computer, they're chasing your cursor around :D
I loveee this game so much it was a lot of fun ! Tho my 2 only suggestions would be for the game to have a day and night cycle (with specific cats that only come during the night time or day time) and more decor options like a table, chairs/an armchair, a bed, maybe also a cat litter ? but the game is very nice to play nonetheless !
Im finding it very difficult to get strays in though 😅 I have four of each toy a bunch of beds, cat scratchers, grass and boxes as well as decor... and of course theyre well fed!
Edit: Ive like doubled all that and Ive got about 3 new cats... 🙂
Hi! I had almost no strays ever show and when they did it was only 1 at a time. I placed all my food and toys outside and I started getting more. The beds dont seem to affect the odds, but if you put food and toys outside they will spawn more. Still, I don't know if you can get more than 4 at a time, but you should have a steady influx of new strays this way. I also think the more cats you adopt, the more stuff you need to get in new strays, so that's something to keep in mind as you adopt more Kittytoys

Kitties lose happiness if any of their needs are empty, but as long as all their needs are met, their happiness increases slowly over time.
You can pet kitties with your cursor, which (aside from melting your heart) increases their happiness.
Sleeping in beds (but not boxes), playing with yarn balls, and eating KittyYumz or tuna fill kitty happiness directly.
Cats only play with balls if they see them moving, but if they're bored enough, they'll play with the other toys without prompting.
Leaving out more food affects the rate at which new kitties arrive, whereas more toys (and also scratch posts) will increase the limit of how many kitties can be present at once.
The more expensive the food, the more of an effect it has on kitty visit rate (but yummier foods are more enticing to kitties, even if they aren't very hungry, so the food goes fast!)
Balloons are only worth half a toy, while scratch posts (including couches and cat grass) are worth two toys.
There is a hard cap on the limit of visiting kitties (toys), but there is not a cap on the rate (food). There are diminishing returns on both after a point though.
Adopting kitties is an investment. As long as you keep them happy, they regularly give you the full 10 kittycoins, without having to raise happiness from scratch as you have to do with stray kitties. The only downside is not getting to enjoy the variety of visiting kitties!ª

Sometimes it can be hard to edit the place bc the cats are always running around the place. Maybe playpens would be a good idea?
