Description
Summary
Bypass the anti uninstall feature
Steps to Reproduce
- give all the permissions to digipaw
- set up device admin
- do setup for anti uninstall, i did password
- open settings
- go to apps menu, settings will get minimized
- click settings a couple times moderately fast and it will open up in the apps menu
- click digipaws app, settings will get minimized
- repeat step 6
- click the disable, then uninstall, then ok
- or uninstall, repeat step 6 deactivate admin, then ok
- app is uninstalled
or basically just use step 6, and slowly navigate to the device admin screen, disable it there, then uninstall the app like usual.
every time the settings app closes (via block) it doesn't reset where I was in the settings app
Expected Behavior
That I wouldn't be able to uninstall without putting in the password that I entered during setup
Actual Behavior
I was able to uninstall app without entering the password
Environment
Pixel 8a, grapheneos android 16, digipaws 2.3-alpha-lite (fdroid)
Additional Context (optional)
i found that I could also get past both the focus mode and the blocked mode (without dialog), by just clicking the app
when the block mode had a dialog without proceed, I was unable to access the app.
I think that if you had a dialog come up that just said your blocked, I wouldn't be able to access the settings, and break the app. Or if the settings app got closed completely, so that when i reopen it I am back to the first screen
https://codeberg.org/timelimit/timelimit-android I havent been able to get past timelimi.io's block by just clicking around and they are opensource.
