Register by Tuesday 16 December 2025 (2 pm CET) to secure your participation.
Please note that participation will be possible both on-site, at the Africa-Europe Foundation (maximum 60 people capacity) and online!
The Workshop is free of charge and open to all stakeholders across Africa, Europe and beyond. Please note that in-person participation is entirely self-funded.
Designed with Stakeholders and for Stakeholders, this Workshop is part of a series of initiatives that aim to facilitate the connection and expansion of the vibrant “Community of practice” contributing to the implementation of the AU-EU Innovation Agenda. This event therefore builds on the very recent Innovation Fair (Brussels and online 2025), the AU–EU Innovation Festival (Cape Town and online, 2023), the AU–EU Innovation Agenda Stakeholder Event (Nairobi and online, 2022), and the previous four Workshops on Intellectual Property Rights (online, 2023), Access to Finance for Innovators (online, 2024), Public Health Innovations (Pretoria and online, 2024) and Artificial Intelligence (GITEX Africa and online, 2025).
This 5th Workshop will take place on Wednesday 17 December 2025 (13:30 – 18:00 CET) in a hybrid format: onsite in Brussels at Africa-Europe Foundation and online, enabling broad participation and active engagement across both continents.
The “Training and Capacity Enhancement Transformation Scheme” will be recorded and made available online shortly after the event. Following the event, a full Workshop Report will be published on the AU–EU Research & Innovation cooperation webpage.
