It seems that when Connect loads my Frontpage automatically that it is pulling from All instead of Subscribed. I had been somewhat ignoring this for some time, but it recently started bothering me with the new Sask community flooding my feed with local content. I can reselect Frontpage and get the subscribed content that I am looking for, but it defeats the purpose of having Frontpage as the default.
I just blocked this spam comment in the image and, while the responses were not important this time, I can no longer see why responses to this comment:
Why are my comments doing this? I haven’t found anything in the settings that can change it or explain it and it just started happening a couple weeks ago. It also doesn’t happen to all comments, some posts it won’t happen at all, others will be entirely highlighted, and some will be mixed, with no apparent reason for which ones are affected that I can see. It happens even after changing the theme colors and the color doesn’t match any of the colors I have set in the settings. It’s not a huge deal but I’d really rather have just a black background for all comments.

I have the setting turned on to hide posts that I’ve read and I also have the setting turned on that marks a post as read once you scroll past it. It seems like I continue to see certain popular posts though. Sometimes I will see a post pop back up multiple times over the course of a day. Has anyone else experienced this?
Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding the limit or intention of these settings?
I was just thinking it might be nice to see what your top 10 upvoted and downvoted accounts are. I think people have a general idea of their top 5 but I think some may be surprised when they see the actual list. Even Voyager doesn’t have this.
Just saw a post on the voting history that Voyager has as a feature and I think it would be neat feature to adopt. Even for users like myself that makes use of user tagging already, I think it would still be useful and complimentary.
I think it would be useful to have the option for Connect to pull from the modlog and show the original comment when it is removed by a mod. The reason I manually do this is to facilitate my tagging of users. Oftentimes a comment is removed for good reason and I can tag people as a racist, etc. An inline option by the “Removed by a mod” comment, when viewing posts would be convenient.
After tapping on a shared(comment link) MultiCommunity, the post list will try to load but ultimately be empty. Then if you add the MC, it gets the name down but no communities were added to the MC.

I think the community caching is still a bit too keen. If I visit a community it’s often still the same as last time I was there until I force a refresh. This is impacting “new post” notifications as well as making me think on a manual check that there are no new posts or comments.

This post’s preview image failed to load and was rendered on top of the title. I’ve only seen this happening to this exact post, so I’m not sure if this has something to do with the image failing do decompress.
After updating, I got that error message after opening the app and none of my accounts were on the app. After I logged into this one and restored my settings, everything seems to be okay.

Looks like alt text has broken again, not showing on long press or on the pop up.
I had favorites on my Piefed account but when I restored my settings, they weren’t restored. It’s just 2 so a quick fix but my Lemmy account had its favorites restored fine. Seems like a multi-account favorite export issue.
I don’t know if others may feel that this is that much of a problem and even worth discussing but I do so I’m going to go on a little tangent. Just… a little.
If you upvote a post and then decide otherwise, tapping the upvote again, the poster will receive -1 to their user vote total. Doesn’t seem to be the case with comments, just posts.

The nsfw filter seems to reset to Show after restarting the app. If you try to change this setting, it resets your theme to “light mode”. Looking in the theme section of the app, there is nothing selected in the drop down, but at the bottom of the modified settings list, I can see my theme was changed from amoled to “darkly-pureblack”.

Some things could be added when exporting settings: alerts, user vote total, sticky community sort settings, maybe view history?(useful for multi-device like tablets)
Filter keywords that are entered with comma-space are not being filtered despite being added to the keyword list below the text field to enter them. The user has to enter keywords as comma separated only despite the list being saved as comma-space separated. Furthermore, entering comma-space will save it as comma-double-space. Lastly, the settings saved message at the bottom keeps repeating once a change is made to the filter list.

New post notifications are repeating posts I’ve already been notified about, and not showing newer ones. Might be a community caching issue? The community in question when I went to it it wasn’t showing a newer post until I manually refreshed.

I had two comments in my inbox on the same post. I tried to upvote the second one (yours - thanks!) and instead it upvoted the top one.
Link preview is rendering the thumbnail for the links in this post but tapping on it gives a page not found error. Perhaps it’s because of the URL method used.
The thumbnail doesn’t update after the image URL is changed on edited posts. This also applies to changing the web URL for article posts and the thumbnail for that remaining the cached version. Tapping on the thumbnail will go to the proper image or article; it’s just the thumbnail that doesn’t update in 366.

When you revisit a post, some user vote counts will refresh constantly as you scroll. It’s not all vote counts, just some. And this problem doesn’t appear on the first viewing of the post but subsequent viewings.
