when tired brain destroys itself, gets all synapses blown away,
all colors turn to shades of blue, all friends are just faded memories
I keep on trying to grow flowers in the barren soil as my hands are shaking
repeating over and over but I can't pretend anymore that I still care... so I don't
I’m digging up my own grave every time I can't get through, my time’s just slipping away

we drown in shallow waters,
exhausted and too afraid to make a move,
so idle, so careless
words have stuck to my lips, so they could never leave the mouth
and the sparkle fades away in our tired eyes
but we keep dreaming awake all the time...
I wish we could keep it like this

Feel Everything

I have never felt homesick cause I have never felt attached enough to anything
I thought I never could miss anyone cause I have never let anyone to get close enough
these vibrant colors are dancing and familiar sounds are imprinted on me ever since and forever
all these things I would never change, they always feel like home
I don’t have to explore why it always works this way,
I just wish us to see the stars again before we all fade and decay

I will never forget bonding again for the last time
you just said “enjoy... until the last leaf hits the soil”
I will deeply miss you spreading your ashes into the sea

these colours, these shapes,
an imprint of you
as you leave, as you fade away
only flowers remain
the afterglow of a warm embrace,
the ambient temperature cools
when it pours, when it rains
only flowers remain
it always comes at a slight inconvenience
a wave but no crash, as you put down the phone
take a deep breath, no one will notice,
go about your day and leave the grief for home
so it seems you’re off, I missed the train,
got stuck in traffic,
a flight delayed,
you’re at the terminal,
I’m not allowed
beyond this point
no return
I may catch a glimpse but will you be there, when I look you in the eyes?
did you keep a dim light to shine, does it flicker, or am I running out time?
frankly, I am scared to death of what I’ll find. will you be there?
or just a memory in the flesh
a breath of air
is it your last?
I know I’m always late, but wait, oh please, just for a second
because I’m on my way
as I fail at fighting back the tears

Without Balance

we stay at the edge, our good old days are gone,
all is falling apart burnt by the glare of the setting sun
like a bad equilibrist without a balance, who stuck on the tightrope again
we move so slowly now and then it feels so good
we just burn to the ground, everything everywhere we go,
watching skies fall all around we fade to echoes of our own...
what else left to ruin and throw

way too many thoughts and barely any feeling,
I wish I could carry it all as a blessing, not as a burden
chasing ghosts
with the head in the clouds
keeping my eyes shut
we are hopelessly sick, we are the wounds on the body of the Earth
this is not what we meant to be,
I fear that everything I say would be just cheap remedy
but words could cure us from any disease
still the silence remains
