From dark towers of cyclopean proportions, spells are cast through artifacts whose workings no one truly understands anymore.

These incantations reshape the world at the speed of light, causing famines and armed conflicts, sometimes turning today’s kings into tomorrow’s beggars, but always allowing a handful to amass unimaginable treasures.

From the depths of a planet exploited to the point of exhaustion emerge torrents of useless yet desirable things, for our desires themselves are shaped by spells endlessly repeated.

A tiny fraction of these inhuman powers is shared through magical objects, for the modest price of constant surveillance and ever-increasing control over the course of our lives.

None of this is fantasy or science fiction.

Nor is it the work of space lizards, or of regulars in the basements of pizzerias, or of worshippers of this or that god. There are no hidden conspiracies.

It is, at its core, nothing more than the unabashed onslaught of boundless greed unfolding daily before our very eyes.


Le Chomor is guillaume k. first musical project. It is, at once, a rather clumsy way of channeling his midlife crisis, of overcoming his imposter syndrome and expressing his general sense of bewilderment at the state of the world.

It is also an attempt to reconcile his love of naive pop tunes, post-hardcore emo outbursts and claustrophobic dungeon synth.

It ain’t much but it’s honest work.
