Guidelines in Development

Screening Sexual Violence is developing a set of filmmaker guidelines drawing from interviews with filmmakers and shaped by research, consultation and trauma-informed practice. These will address approaching the representation of sexual violence with care, ethical production practices, self-care as a filmmaker engaging with sensitive and challenging issues, working with cast and crew, and other topics.

Full guidelines will be published in 2026.
