Hi,
Ctrl+F (find) is not working in certain circumstances. This has been ongoing for years, I have just re-tested to try to determine a replicable case.

  • Open KeepPass
  • Try Ctrl+F. It works.
  • Go to File -> Open Recent. Open a second database.
  • On the second db, try Ctrl+F. It is not responsive. The menu item "Find" will still work.

Ubuntu Linux 24.04 , keepass2 2.47+dfsg-2
Ubuntu Linux 24.10, keepass2 2.57+dfsg-1

It's a small edge case.
On the second db, after you open it, don't click on anything, just try Ctrl+F. It doesn't work. (Some other activity, such as fiddling with the 'File' menu next, may still not solve the issue. It depends.)

Are you able to observe this, or it doesn't happen for you? Use populated keepass databases in the test.

Working fine for me in Windows 10 with KP 2.58.
It may be a mono thing where the focus is not properly set after opening the second database?

    cheers, Paul

      Do you mean Wine?
