I'm trying to get MODBUS TCP from a Mitsi invertor to a server. Using Qmodmaster on my laptop connects and works fine. Data changes, Using tools i can confirm Port is open and it pings ok.

When I try to run QModMaster on server on same network it won't connect, Using tools i can ping it but status of port is closed. I can connect through telnet to port 502.

I do not have a networking back ground. The only difference between network adaptor properties is the one that works has dhcp enabled the one that hasn't got it enabled doesn't

I'm using version 0.5.2-3

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello Matt.

    It might be a firewall issue. Can you disable the windows firewall on the server and try again ? Does the server connects directly to your device or through a router/firewall ? If yes you should also check the configuration of these devices.
