"overall good " Posted 2026-01-02
Pros: Completely free with no feature limits - Unlike competitors like Calendly that restrict free users to one event type, cal.id offers unlimited scheduling with all features available at no cost Cal, which is particularly valuable for freelancers, creators, and solopreneurs.
Built-in payment processing - The platform allows you to accept payments directly for meetings and appointments within the scheduling system, eliminating the need for separate payment solutions.
Extensive integrations and white-label options - Cal.id connects with popular tools like Salesforce, Slack, and Zoom, and offers white-label embedding on your own domain with ISO, GDPR, and CCPA compliance includedCons: Newer, less established platform - As a relatively new entrant competing against established players like Calendly, it may have a smaller user base and potentially fewer third-party integrations or community resources available.
Limited track record - Being a newer service means there's less long-term data on reliability, ongoing development, and whether the free model is sustainable, which could raise questions about future pricing or feature changes.
Potential feature maturity - While it offers many features, some advanced capabilities or refinements that come with more mature platforms may still be in development or less polished compared to competitors that have had years to optimize their user experience.Overall: What really stands out is how it eliminates the endless back-and-forth emails. Automatic reminders have significantly reduced no-shows for longer sessions Cal, and the timezone handling just works without me thinking about it. Plus, being able to accept payments directly in the booking flow has been clutch for paid consultations.

"Simple, Reliable Scheduling Without the Usual Paywalls" Posted 2026-01-02
Pros: Cal ID makes scheduling straightforward and practical. The setup is quick, the booking pages look clean, and calendar syncing works well for day-to-day use. I especially like that the core features are genuinely free, including multiple event types and team scheduling, which is rare compared to similar tools. It eliminates back-and-forth emails and works well for client calls, internal meetings, and basic team coordination without unnecessary complexity. and quick support over chat with live meeting also
Cons: Some advanced customization options and deeper workflow automation are limited compared to more mature enterprise tools. A few settings take time to discover, and documentation could be clearer for first-time users who want to fine-tune rules or integrations.
Overall: Cal ID has been a reliable scheduling tool for my daily work. It removes the friction of back-and-forth emails, keeps calendars in sync, and provides a clean booking experience for both internal and external meetings. While it may not cover every advanced enterprise scenario, it does the core job well and offers strong value, especially considering how much is available on the free plan.

Seamless Integrations: It hooks into everything—Google, Outlook, Zoom, Stripe, and even more niche tools via their built-in App Store.Cons: Feature Density: Because it’s so powerful and customizable, the initial setup of advanced "Routing Forms" or "Team Round Robins" can take a few extra minutes to learn compared to simpler, more limited tools.

"Best scheduling software out of india" Posted 2025-12-31
Pros: The ease of use is fantastic. The user experience guides the user easily on what to do. For many indians, who are new to this kind of software, it is really easy to set up and get going. It also connects seamlessly to other apps to facilitate smoother multichannel booking
Cons: The only issue I have with this software is that it is not open-source and self-hostable. It doesn't have to be free, but users who can self-host it should be given the option to self-host. Which is important for data security and privacy
Overall: Overall the team behind it has been very friendly, and very forthcoming in setting things up. This has generally been a smooth and easy experience.

"Best calender app" Posted 2025-12-27
Pros: What I liked most about Cal ID is how effortlessly it streamlines scheduling. The interface is clean, intuitive, and fast, allowing me to set up meetings in seconds. I really appreciate how it syncs perfectly with Google and Outlook calendars to prevent overlaps. The customizable booking pages let me present my brand professionally, which is great for clients. Its automatic time zone detection also saves a lot of confusion. Overall, Cal ID makes scheduling stress‑free, looks professional, and helps me stay organized — all while offering powerful features completely free.
Cons: While Cal ID is very useful overall, a few areas could improve. The setup process can feel slightly confusing for first‑time users, especially when linking external calendars or customizing booking pages. Some integrations take extra steps compared to other tools, and a few advanced features are locked behind paid tiers. The mobile experience, though functional, could be smoother for quick edits or last‑minute changes. Notifications sometimes arrive with minor delays, especially across time zones. Despite these small issues, the platform’s flexibility and overall performance still make it an excellent scheduling solution.
Overall: Cal ID has been a smooth, reliable tool for organizing my calls and meetings, and it quickly became part of my daily workflow. The interface is clean, so setting availability and sharing a booking link takes under a minute. Clients like that they can pick a time without back-and-forth messages, which has noticeably increased confirmed meetings and reduced no‑shows. Integrations with existing calendars help avoid double bookings and make time‑blocking much easier. Overall, it feels like a polished, student‑friendly alternative to tools like Calendly, with powerful features offered at no cost.

"Game changer" Posted 2025-12-26
Pros: Simple to use, clean interface, and very effective for handling meetings across different time zones. I especially liked that it captures context before a meeting instead of just booking a slot. Sharing one link instead of coordinating over email or chat saves a lot of time.
Cons: Would like to see more integrations and customization options as the product grows.
Overall: Cal ID feels less like a basic scheduler and more like a professional way to manage access to your time. It’s particularly useful for freelancers, consultants, and small teams working with international clients.

Pros: The main pros is, it is very affordable in comparison with cal.com and Calendly which charge hefty amount per user, Also it gives full functionality and features of cal.com and at a low cost.
Cons: Nothing I found so far. The con might be that it is forked from cal.com, I hope they give enough credit to cal.com due to which this was possible.
Overall: Great, I loved this software. My business was expanding and I was looking for a software with have round robin distribution feature at minimal cost or free version. Calendly and cal.com charged hefty per user fees.
