HiMama

Pros: From a parent's point of view, HiMama is a very easy-to-use, useful software for getting quick updates on what your child is doing at daycare/pre-schools. It's good for email updates about closures, holidays etc, but also for more functions like sharing pictures. I really appreciated have a better sense of what my child was up to during the day so I could ask them more specific questions about their day.

Cons: To me honest, I find the name quite offensive. As a mother I love getting updates, but her dad does too! This seems behind the times and doesn't reflect the idea of gender roles and responsibilities I'd like to see in our community.

Overall: Overall, a great, helpful tool that keeps parents informed about their child's day at school, but I would definitely recommend a rebrand!

Pros: I like this app because it allows me to see every my child is doing in daycare throughout the day. It's also useful for sending messages to her daycare director & teacher.

Cons: I haven't ran into any negatives so far using the app.

Overall: Overall experience is very good. I would recommend daycares/preschools offer this app to their parents.

Pros: I love this app because I can keep track of how much my baby is eating, sleeping, using the bathroom, and I get pictures while I’m at work. It really eases the mom guilt that we all feel any time we’re not with our children.

Cons: Adding some general information on the days that the teachers forget to fill out a log could be helpful. Like common milestones and white night with the age of my baby.

Overall: Love it! This is a fantastic app, in general. I wish there had been some thing like this when my baby was two months old and in daycare. I feel like I’m a part of my babies daily life when I log into the High mom app can’t see pictures of what she’s doing today.

Pros: I love getting real time updates of my kids, but most of all pictures! I check it all day and love it for potty training as we can look back and reward a good day!

Cons: I wish that lunch/nap/snack updated right away but that’s minimal.

Overall: Overall we have loved it! I talk about when I refer people to our daycare. It’s easy to use, easy to communicate with teachers, and I love that I can save pictures from it!

Pros: Love the HiMama app to keep track of my little ones days! The pictures and updates are amazing!!!!!

Cons: Nothing. There are no cons to this app. Keep it up!

Overall: 10/10 app. Would highly recommend for anyone with little kids in a daycare that carries HiMama!

Pros: This software is awesome for checking the kids in, and communicating with parents.

Overall: However, their billing went from bad to worse since we started.
The billing is not at all built by an accountant or accounting clerk. You can not run a report quickly to give the parents a balance in a glance or see what is a parents balance.
End of the year report only shows one line of the sum of all payments done through the year, it does not separate taxable or non-taxable deductions.
To see a family's balance you have to go through multiple pages of Invoices that were sent and paid or cancelled, since you can't delete invoices that were created and not sent.
We will not recommend this software to others. We are switching to an American based company, since we believe they will understand better what our needs are.
When we complained, we just got a "we will let our software designers know".
