Moneylender Professional

Pros: The flexibility to handle lots of loan types and scenarios. Other software companies charge extra for the report features that this software includes standard--it's pretty amazing.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. The software delivers exactly what it claims to offer.

Overall: I needed a billing software that was flexible enough to calculate loans under several different scenarios and this fits that requirement and offers so much more. Being able to modify the reports means that I can streamline the information output to be exactly what I need. I could say so much more.
I wish I found this sooner--instead of wasting so much time in with two other software companies before. Though I might not have appreciated it as much if that were the case! And like others have mentioned, support is fantastic.

Pros: Very user friendly and I like that it offers a variety of interest, and late fee calculation options. The many reports that are included with the software can be tailored to efficiently and successfully service any loan.

Cons: Some of the loan reports don’t total the columns. It would be a good feature if those reports would total the columns or give you the option to total them. Unless that’s a feature I haven’t learned yet.

Overall: We owner finance real estate and this software has been a life saver and answer to prayer! It takes a little time to learn all the features but fairly easy to navigate once parameters are set up. I was so thankful to hear about this software from a friend who uses it and immediately purchased it after I went through the trial version. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Pros: Moneylender is user friendly, customizable, and Josh (the creator) is so helpful! He has gone above and beyond to help us through understanding and using the product to fit our business needs. It is well designed, appropriately updated, and effective for loan tracking.

Cons: There are some specific features that did not fit our business model, i.e. we apply funds to principal and interest before paying additional fee/escrow balances due (Moneylender applies funds to fees/escrow before p/i). However, despite the difference, Josh has helped us understand and work with these differences to still efficiently use the product.

Overall: We love Moneylender almost as much as we love the support from the creator. Technical details are well designed for flexibility using common business models.

Pros: I switched from another product to this which was the best move I ever made. It was a big decision because I was so dug in to the old software but making the move was a wise choice!

Cons: Temporary discomfort transferring out of one system into this system. Now there is a work around available to "import" loans from the old platform to this one

Overall: The help desk is amazing! I love the print statement feature that allows me to select multiple loans just hit print and off you go!

Pros: The software calculates the interest and fees based on payment dates and produces a professional statement for your Borrowers. Customer service is outstanding. They answer on the first or second ring and stay with you for some of the crazy scenarios that you will encounter as a Lender. They even rewrite code to accommodate customers.

Cons: That I didn't find MoneyLender sooner. It is a great tool!

Overall: Fabulous! I have called Customer Service at least a half dozen times with really crazy modifications to loans and spent hours working it through - they have always been helpful and patient.
