XPQ-21 Berlin Jeyênne alias XPQ-21 was born in Italy and eventually made his way to Berlin. He is a singer-songwriter-producer who performs and writes in English and German. His work includes recording, producing, songwriting, DJing and live performance. His musical origins lie in catholic organ and electro punk, and he was later influenced by the dark wave of the late 80s, 90s rave and 2000s industrial techno. He played in countless raves in the 90s, performing regularly under the pseudonym The Jeyênne . He played with @theprodigy and @moby on their 1995 German tour. Viva and MTV played his "Das Nippel" in rotation, while Front242 contributed a remix of his Darkness single ‘Mayday 1995‘. More raves followed until he creates XPQ-21 in 1998, his Industrial Goth EBM project, followed by his own label. For 10 years he toured through Europe and the USA. At the height of his success, Jeyênne retired and started his own school in Germany: the EMS - Electronic Music School, with locations in Berlin and Cologne (www.em-school.com) The following years were filled with tragedies and crises, which did not stop him from continuing to work on his production, sound design and his unmistakable way of creating music. In 2019 he releases on one of the EMS labels a new single remix for Jeyênne. In 2020 he releases remix for XPQ-21 and his industrial techno project @korgenaamat. XPQ-21 have published all releases digitally again in 2020. 2022 marks the release of MACHINES, followed by TEMPTATION 2023 and WHERE MINDS COLLIDE (with Laura Friedland) in 2024.
