The translation to different languages should be extended to cover the default names of objects. This should cover not just the 3D-objects but animation tracks, texture- and material names, bones, rendered images and movies ....
An example: When the menus and the tool tip texts are translated, for examlpe the Finnish tool tip for creating a sphere says "Luo pallo". Instead of "Pallo 1" the new object is named "Sphere 1". Even more confusing this might be with the animation tracks.
Not that everybody minds, but those who use the translated versions probably have a reason to. :)
And I forgot to mention: this should also be applied to the objects that are created at start up (one camera and one light), though this probably happens by itself if the names are translated.
