You don't have to use an RGB-module. You can use a color (module), under "values". To adjust the color, just double click the color pad, and you can set the color by the same UI as any texture color.

No, I remember when this was created. It is asking for the ability to keyframe a color parameter. The OP was creating three number parameter tracks, and combining them through an RGB block. Still a vaild request, even if it isn't near the top of my list.
