I have attempted to create a correct txy diagram for the nitric acid/water system using the UNIQUAC model in three different ways:
Manually entering the interaction parameters a12, a21 (in cal/mol)
Pasting these parameters in the uniquacip.dat as (in units of K):
1921;1903;-688.7314325;-422.7889041;Water/Nitric Acid
Pasting these parameters in the uniquac.dat as (in units of cal/mol):
1921;1903;-1367.740875;-839.6098077;Water/Nitric Acid
Whenever I tell the program to create the VLE diagram (Txy or Pxy), it loads and loads and never outputs anything. DWSIM get's stuck and after 5+ hours, I have to force quit it.
Please help me know why this is the case.
