TkScanFax-1.03, the bugfix in manipulating the phone book, is released. All the users are recommended to upgrade.

TkFax is a Tcl/Tk based GUI fax program supporting efax or sendfax. Its GUI is integration of make/send/receive faxes includs editing cover pages, attaching files, and optionally scanning documents by TkScan. All with multi language support.

At length, TkFax version 1.0 is released today!

TkFax version 1.0 has more features and is more stable than ever.

efax running under some european locales may cause an error,
'efix error: bad units ...'.
It is due to the decimal string differ from '.' in some locales.

If you encountered such an error, update your efax to
efax-0.9a001114a7
or replace the fax script(/usr/bin/fax).

Received faxes cannot be deleted with an error with TkFax-0.99final.

After once TkFax was abnormally shut down, restarting fails. If you encountered this problem, delete the lock file ~/.tkfax/tmp/lock and try again. Visit

tkscanfax-0.99fanal is our last milestone before the TkFax version 1.0,
the GUI fax program supporting efax or sendfax.
Try this version and your report will be welcomed.
