MacIP is a protocol to encapsulate IP in AppleTalk. macipgw is a BSD daemon that acts as a router between native IP transports and an AppleTalk network, to allow nodes that only have AppleTalk connectivity to communicate with IP-based nodes.

There's also a Linux port at https://github.com/zero2sixd/macipgw
