GETTR

Pros: Best social media app out there!!

Cons: However, every time I need to update GETTR it takes me to Google Play where the circle just spins claiming it is Pending.

Overall: Everything else downloads and installs instantly.

Pros: The system worked as advertised, in fact it worked much better than GAB. Initially it was promising, but the greater my followers became, the more I wondered if this was being hampered in some way. This fear was realized and it mirrored precisely the progression of my popularity in GAB before I was banned there too.

Cons: It doesn't have groups or themes to join.
People are constantly posting long lists of their followers to try and get you to follow them, it clutters up the timeline and activities seem to be concentrated on administrative, advertising and posts that are jokes.
If you have a warning, or a serious message to convey, your audience will be limited, that is until you reach the political target you were aiming at. At this point, it becomes clear that GETTR DELETES POSTS AND BLOCKS FURTHER POSTING. SAID DIFFERENTLY, THE CEO OF GETTR HAS FOREIGN FINANCIAL SUPPORTERS IN CHINA AND IF YOUR POLITICAL SPEECH TRAMPLES ON ANY OF THEIR ALLIES, THE RESULTS BECOME CLEAR IN VERY SHORT ORDER.

Overall: This platform is in no way a free speech. The people here don't even know the meaning of the term. To them free speech is something they allow until their "friends and allies" complain, then you are banned. Just Like Twitter. Just like Facebook. Just like ALL THE REST.....

Complain to them about any of this, and they want to "hold an investigation with the appropriate department". Then you hear nothing.

Pros: In its current incarnation, Gettr is a lot like Twitter - except you don't have to explain to people why the House and Senate are different. Yup, the people here have a basic understanding of civics. You're still probably not going to have many great intellectual conversations but the community on the whole is way better than the Twitter folks. Some of the planned features are pretty great, like a live streaming option.

Cons: Lacks some people whose content only appears on other platforms. There's a fair amount of bot-like accounts that just spam reposts all day.

Overall: Fantastic. Site works well, is quick to load, and sometimes Gettr Support will find your posts and address concerns without you having to tag them. They really do care.

Pros: Great ideas, World events connected, global elites and good brotherly people, history covered at a glance, experts joined... Wow.

Cons: Waiting for DMs, Direct Messaging, Need truth to triumph in the face of lies poured in blind faces.

Overall: A world 🌍 is now connected, my fear is consoled, my lonely gets like understanding folks... I love active administrators who are interactive and loving.

Pros: Free of BS and made up on a whim "policies" based on political agendas. How social media used to be, how it should be, free speech within the law.

Cons: None that I can see that are worth a mention, I'm sure a time moves forwards it will become even slicker.

Overall: Excellent. Looking forwards to where it goes, the most important thing is the lack of politically driven agendas at play here.

Pros: I no longer have to rethink what I want to post. I can freely be open minded and be honest. Gettr is the best social media app today.

Cons: Needs more features such as searching for people by town or city.
Also an ability to maybe host a group.

Overall: A fantastic experience. No glitches or issues from what I've noticed. Just complete freedom of speech.

Pros: So quick and can share everywhere... I love it.

Able to quickly distribute to all platforms at a wicked pace.

Cons: Needs longer vids.
I have many longer videos I'd like to post.

Overall: Very good.. so quick.

It's way better than jumping from platform to platform. And the feeds come in super quick.

Pros: Simple and intuitive interface, easy to use, no evidence of censorship yet, some big names are here.

Cons: Support was lacking at first but has improved, not a lot of content available yet.

Overall: Not bad. It has taken the place of Twitter for me. There could be more content and being able to use it for SSO would be nice.

Pros: They apparently don't ban people for having opinions the company doesn't like. That's pretty much what it takes to be a good social network these days.

Cons: It's basically just a clone of Twitter. I'm not a huge fan of the way Twitter works, and this is essentially the same, but it's what people like I guess, and this version at least isn't banning people for having opinions Twitter doesn't like.

Overall: It's still centralized so it probably will censor some day if it's around long enough, but until one of the decentralized platforms takes off, why not.

Pros: Everything is good. nothing else to say.

Cons: No cons.

Overall: Perfect. Just try it yourself.

Pros: GETTR seems pretty solid for a new social media platform so far. Their interface and UX is nice and usable, which is more than you can say for most new social media platforms.

Cons: I have heard of some people being censored even though they claim it is more free than Twitter.

Overall: Overall my experience on GETTR has been good so far. Support is good and the ability to import tweets is also nice.

Pros: Uhhmm let me think..... I can't think of anything good about it. It sucks, they censored my posts and I'm pissed I wasted my time in them.

Cons: I had 3 posts removed, they don't tell you why or even that they have been removed. I just found out for myself. I guess you can't mention the punishment for treason. Gab had no problem with the same post . And as far as I know, the real President isn't on GETTR So quit using it for a selling point. NOT IMPRESSED.

Overall: No better than Twitter. I permanently logged off. Not free speech. No notifications, maybe if you pay for it, IDK.
