About PrePass

PrePass is North America’s leading weigh-station bypass and toll-payment platform for commercial trucking. When a PrePass-enrolled truck approaches a participating weigh station or port of entry, the system automatically checks the vehicle’s credentials, weight, and safety record, then sends a green (“bypass”) or red (“pull in”) signal via either an in-cab RFID transponder or the PrePass mobile app. If the signal is green, the truck skips the stop and continues driving at highway speed; if red, it must pull in for inspection. PrePass serves more than 750,000 qualified vehicles across hundreds of sites. By avoiding frequent stops, PrePass helps drivers and fleets save time, fuel, and wear and tear, reduces congestion and emissions, and improves overall highway safety. It also offers integrated toll management via PrePass Plus, enabling electronic toll payment with one device across multiple toll networks, plus software tools.
