Disappointingly, still no list view option. No compact grid option. And no ability to see mod descriptions without hovering over them first. While a step up from the classic page, it still feels like a massive waste of space.

I also noticed that hover descriptions wont show at all if the mod’s description starts with an image, which a lot of mods do, but that’s probably just a beta problem.

On top of what the other person said, Lutris allows you to install windows games very easily in like 3 steps.

You click the + in Lutris, and then click either “Install a Windows game from an executable” if it’s an installer, or click “Add locally installed game” if it’s not. In this case it’s an installer, so you’d click the former. It’ll then ask you to give the game a name, where you want it installed, and then where the downloaded file is. Then the standard windows installer will pop up.

At that point the game will be installed, and you can right click it in Lutris to play around with settings if you’d like. Notably, you can change things like the wine/proton version in the “Runner options” tab.

80% in the MCC, wow, that’s insane. I love Halo, but I think I’d go nuts if I tried to 100% it. Halo 2 LASO would give me nightmares lol.

It’s hard to say exactly because the games have a very different weapon set, but if memory serves, Halo 2 has a higher TTK in general than Reach does. Maybe you’re getting the jump on your friends more often, and they just have a longer chance to react in 2 than in Reach.

Just wanted to say I really like that first screenshot. Something about the angle, the colors, and even the poses, it looks very cool.

I’m more of a “grab everything and get rid of the stuff I don’t like next time I play” kind of person. There’s just too much DLC to look through for me to really find what I like, figure out how their systems work with each other and actually feel to play, etc… I’d rather just experience it first hand. Though I will say that if I like a DLC enough and it doesn’t cost too much, I’ll buy it. I think I’ve done that with Nemesis and Utopia so far.

Fair enough, that is an option. I meant if you specifically want the whole package. Nothing turns me off of a game quite like going to the store page and seeing $300 worth of DLC to go through. Though, many of those DLC are almost just as expensive as the base game. More expensive if you consider the sales the base game has.

That’s why I just pirated all of the DLC for Stellaris. You can either pay a 10$/m subscription to access all of the DLC, or you can pay $290 to get all of the DLC at its absolute cheapest in a -27% off bundle. Fuck that noise, I don’t like any game enough to spend $300 on it.

It would be more space efficient without needing to resize any windows. Especially useful if you already have half your screen covered with another program. I can see myself using this a lot.

This is without a doubt my favorite looking Rimworld base I’ve seen. Your throne room and anomaly room look especially good. Did you move the anima tree there, or did you build the garden and throne around it?

I also really like your use of stairs to make some rooms look less flat. What mod are they from, and are they just visual or do they slow pawns down or anything? I’d like to try adding them to my own bases at some point.

Xbox fucked itself when it released the 360. It’s a cool name and all, but where do you go from there? They can’t back out and name the next one the Xbox 3 because that’s just a downgrade to 360 both audibly and visually. The Xbox 720 like plenty of people thought? That one’s honestly not bad, but at this point you’ve only kicked the can down the road. Because the Xbox 1080 or 1440 doesn’t sound nearly as good.

I can’t tell if they were just scared to have the “Xbox 2” compete with the “PlayStation 3”, or if it was just MS not knowing how to name a damn product.

Maybe, but if you want Librewolf but less extreme, that’s what Waterfox is for. May as well just install that and avoid the 5 minute search. And this is coming from a long time Librewolf user.

I didn’t care for Rivals too much because none of the characters really clicked with me, the shark’s ult was total bullshit imo, and there were far too many characters that spent the entire game just flying in the air.

Overwatch has a few characters I really enjoy playing in each role, doesn’t really have any crazy ults like Rivals, and only one character (the newly added cat) spends the entire game in the air.

Overwatch is probably in the best state it’s been in since launch, but only if you’re not susceptible to FOMO. Because holy hell do they abuse FOMO at every opportunity with absurdly expensive character skins, that shit’s their bread and butter. Like, don’t want to buy the $10 battlepass? Oh well, that’s one more mythic skin (the game’s highest quality, customizable skins) you’ll never get. Want to get one of those skins at a later point? That’ll cost you 80 fucking dollars. 100+ if you want any of the fancy colors. Should have bought the battlepass.

But yeah, monetization and FOMO aside, Overwatch is pretty fun right now.

Denvuo can cause issues for Linux users trying to switch proton versions. Denuvo is also terrible for game preservation. It’s not just pirates that are affected negatively.

Looking up old legacy edition screenshots, it looks like it did. Super weird that I don’t remember that at all, I played the hell out of MC on the 360 as a kid lol. I guess that kinda thing just didn’t bother me back then.

You… either completely missed or completely ignored the point. The point being that, in order to attack the pirates who wouldn’t have bought the game anyway, regular paying users are getting screwed over by a significant performance hit.
