As the Groundwork for the Constituent State of Niger is laid the French Federation of Nations prepares for a future in which the French Nationality Transcends the confinement of the Nation-State of France. It shall be more then a nationality, but a father to a France of the World, just Europe. We shall have France become a landmark of Africa, Asia, and just as in Europe this landmark will bear the symbols of France. The French Language will be spoken around the world, and regional variations expanded on to truly endorse the multilingual dream of France that is tolerant and accepting of its vast lands. The French Federation of Nations is expanding on military service and is rewarding service with land and using it as a tool to work on the Francization of the many portions of the Federation especially in Africa. French-African officers from Madagascar are the shining model of what roads the Federation opens up to the people all around the Empire as mixed regiments begin to fill up the ranks all over Africa.

The French Federation of Nations has the Federal Parliament in the Grand Palace of Versailles where representatives of the Federation meet and hold talks about the best course for France, with large scale investments into the development of Africa, now pouring funds into the Infrastructure as well as the Industrial yield of Africa. With this new Industrial development comes a reformed Francophile educational system, that shall lay the uniting concept of French Nationality.

After much discussion President Philippe Pétain has agreed with the General Staff (Upper House) and the General Assembly (Lower House) upon how succession shall operate and the three candidates put forward was François Darlan he is a traditional Officer Candidate from the general staff of the navy and most of the army, he has a widespread popularity for his effort in creating the French Navy of today which is a modern force on par with the Royal Navy across the channel. Next you have another Military Candidate who has the support of the remaining general staff of the army and the majority of the young officers Charles de Gaulle. This has split the military support between the two who had expected a single candidate. In the General Assembly the Party of National Revolution which has the majority has united along with independents to support Joseph Darnand unanimously. So the discussion was held and to the surprise of many the Party of National Revolution has secured the Presidency to ensure stability François Darlan has been appointed Prime Minister and Charles de Gaulle was made minister of defense. He has handed many positions to the military to ensure that they are represented. The Government has also laid down the foundation for an increase African-French Regulars built upon the model of the French Foreign Legion, this will also reward land grants to the soldiers after they finish their service to the Federation. The French have also set to once again expand upon the French Navy so that it will be a military backbone that may provide work and protection to the people of France.

With the Next President coming into Power, the Father of France, Philippe Pétain has taken upon a new role, he will speak weekly on the state radio stations and he shall not be a quiet man in his retirement, but he has seen France from the edge and brought them back to being a leading power in Europe. He will tour the nations of Europe in his free time and provide his opinion and political insight to building a better Europe.

Die Neue Kaiserzeit!

"A great day is upon the Reich! The beloved monarchy that was so wrongfully taken from us in nineteen-eighteen by Revolution, famine and depression, has finally returned to rule Germany once more. The will of the people was made known with a referendum passing with a fifty-four percent majority, making it clear that the public yearned for the return of the glorious monarchy. Even the NSDAP has recognized the people's will and agreed to restore the monarchy. However, this shall be a modern monarchy, a monarchy of the twentieth century. In league with SPD, a new constitution was drafted wherein the Kaiser would represent national unity but shall refrain from politics as it is above such a figure, now governing power lay in the Reichskanzler. Sadly, His Majesty Kaiser Wilhelm II would not live to see this day and instead his most noble son by the same name has been crowned, a grand state funeral will be held in his honor. A new age is upon us, Heil Kaiser!"

Note: The new Constitution is effectively an edited verison of the 1949 German Constitution to account for the monarchy.

The White Highlands

The Settling Companies sent across Empire and Europe have returned with great results (roll of 79) - with around 10,000, of varying talents but outstanding morals, finding a new home here in Kenya. Many have settled along the Uganda Railway (from Mombasa to Kisumu), finding work in small towns and settling their own small farms. As perhaps a blessing from the varying wealth of new Kenyans, a concentration of amongst the least fortunate have found homes in Nairobi. Regardless of these different examples of economic integration, the colonial government must ensure the White man's opportunities are not dependent on his background. Brooke-Popham will ensure this is the case, with the promise of greater funds from London for this great beacon on the Dark Continent.

Following the success of Settling Companies, the initiative will continue in their generally low-budget attempts to attract immigrants: and perhaps achieve similar results. The usual well of Britons willing to take the risk in emigrating will soon run dry though, and so pressure upon Brooke-Popham to not only support new Kenyans but also find new sources is only going to grow. Perhaps funds will soon come from Kenya herself, and her vast agricultural potential, rather than the Empire's paternal hand.

The White Highlands, so-called because of the exclusive White settling privileges, has thrived under British rule. Cash crops, grown on White estates, are exported with great value: and these new Kenyans will only add to the rich agricultural industry. Using what little funds we have left, [Figure to be determined], the support and attraction of immigrants will be attempted. Settling Companies will be organised under the umbrella Kenyan Mission Office, granting greater efficiency and organisation to the disparate companies. Hopefully more and more people will be inclined to share this paradise with us.
