This is a fantastic game. It deserves game of the year. The story is compelling, the missions and characters are compelling. There wasn't a moment playing where I thought 'oh the story is about to end'. There's gotta be 100 story driven missions + side quests in this that will take you probably 300 hours to fully complete this game. Absolutely a must play for 2025.

If you didn't play the first game, coming into kingdom come 2 might be a little confusing but the developers did a fairly decent job trying to make it welcoming to newcomers. 10/10

Requested a refund. The game has high fidelity, Saber have really outdone themselves with this release but the one critical issue that makes this game unbearable to play. There's no FOV / Camera Controls. I play on a 3840/1080 monitor, half of the player screen is occupied by the player character. I feel like I have to play this game by closing one eye because of how jarring this is. If I could just adjust the FOV or move the camera a little back this wouldn't be such a problem.

Uninstalling. There is no reason to require you to register for another account on PSN to play when you already have the capability to authenticate that I purchased this game via steam.

Graphically, this game looks great.
However, the combat seems very boring. The trailers show different guns and weapons but after a couple of missions, I was still stuck slashing away with my shovel and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rifle. It felt boring after the first 30 mins. Its pretty much left 4 dead but lacking the depth that makes those games that much enjoyable. Only so much you can get from hacking and slashing, sure it looks nice but if there's no variety then its pretty lame. Give me some guns or weapons to pick up though the level, if I kill a boss, give me cool gun bang bang or sweet sword. It would me so much better if this game added looting.

I also felt like the enemy's were not much of a challenge. I'd be swarming with bad dudes and never really feel like I was going to get killed. Sorta like if you were playing halo on easy mode.

The tutorial levels were extremely ham fist'd and probably should have had an option to be skipped. IDK how they did it but it almost felt like I was playing the dawn of war III tutorial missions all over again. I want to like this but it just feels like everything is super dumb'd down and really boring. How did they succeed so well at making a good looking game boring?

Maybe give it a few months for the devs to make it look nicer, I don't want to play this anymore.

Detroit: Become Human is not a game. It is a interactive movie with quick time events. It is not a conventional title.

Its a detective drama following 3 characters from different points of view. You make choices.
If I knew this was purely quicktime events, I wouldn't have made this purchase.
The only thing you can get out of this is the story is the choices you make.

Its poorly optimised and I needed to downgrade my NVIDIA drivers to be able to play this as it would frequently crash. I have a 2080ti and 64 gb of ram with a corresponding well performing processor yet this game had serious issues maintaining even 30 frames without changes to its settings in a text editor.
It also doesn't support ultra wide which would have been a great enhancement as all events are rendered in real time.

I don't recommend buying this. Its not a game.
If you need your fix, go watch the movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence, thats basically the game.

Another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ uplay intergrated crapbasket.

The controls are clunky, the visuals for the game although are meant to give off that hackers 1995 feel come off as annoying. Its the eye flashing epileptic gameplay and cutscenes that piss me off. If you want to have the player be engaged, flashing a bright light in their face several times serves to only piss me off. Press c to crouch and also... take cover. This one design choice really leaves the player clinging... to those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walls instead of the edge of your seat. I felt like the first mission was meant to be stealthy but turns out the gameplay is more akin to a hack and slash so being stealthy really doesn't matter when your doing a heist on the first level. Its seriously too overwhelming to the player when you first start with the amount of information the developers bombard the player with on how to play the game, then while foaming from the mouth as you have another seizure because you were too focused on the screen to complete the stupid tutorial, you are blinded again because of another stupid cutscene. You will find yourself going back and forth trying to complete a tutorial if you put anymore input than 10%. I don't recommend this game. The movement, controls and the tutorials are lackluster. The UI being all 'hackified' made me feel confused rather than enjoying it.

Final verdict: Just go watch Hackers (1995) with Angelina Joliem, Matthew Lillard (ultimate shaggy), and Jonny Lee Miller. You'll have a better couple of hours watching that then playing this games opening for 1 hour.

Its like civ 5 but its more complicated. Bit of a learning curve for the casual however after 200 hours of play, you too can be a master and commander of many nations during the second world war. Mod support is good, played road to 56 a bunch. The only thing I am not too impressed with is the needless dlcs to make the game more expensive and that man the guns dlc that people have which makes the game really cancer and needlessly complicated.

Buy it if you've got a bunch of time to waste and can tollerate a more complicated civ 5.

7/10

Hitman 2 is a very lackluster title.

The core mission set for this game is 6 missions + time based exclusive missions released every month.
It is expected that after you finish the very short campaign that you keep replaying the same missions over and over to explore other ways to complete these missions. The cover for the lackluster story and missions is that the levels are ment to be a sandbox for the player to decide how they wish to proceed with a mission. Although I have enjoyed replaying the missions, the campaign and its story are extremely lacking for a $84 AUD game (base price without dlcs or special editions). It is like having a bowl of ice cream without any toppings and its just one scoop. Its good but it really is missing a large amount of content that can be only supplemented though spending more money on dlcs and upgrades.
The game hints you into buying additional campaign missions from the previous episodic hitman release a few years ago and the special edition pre-order mission offered for that game as patient zero. It has a lot to be desired.

If you're interested in playing this game, get it while its on special but be warned that you'll go right though the campaign quick so you'll probs want all the content in a special edition in about a year. We'll see if it improves but atm its only worth the buy if you've got money to waste.

Suggest buying Hitman Absolution instead if you want a full proper game.
