Charming, funny, fun, and lovable as all hell. Wonderful, wonderful game.

My GOTY 2024. Absolutely flawless; writing is gorgeous, the way the intrigue builds is gorgeous, music is gorgeous, graphics are gorgeous, the mechanic is original, interesting, and executed to absolute perfection. 10/10, no notes.

This review was previously positive. It is now 2025 and this is quite possibly the most miserable, least fun game I've played in my entire life. I'd rather get stabbed than have to play one game of this.

Not just the greatest Star Wars game ever, but one of the greatest games ever made in general. Every second of gameplay absolutely oozes pure love for the universe and its characters, and it creates an experience it's hard not to fall in love with yourself.

~50 fps on a 1080ti at 3440x1440. Don't know why others have performance this bad, maybe they accidentally turned on ray tracing? lol

Edit after beating the game - time to completion: 40 hours, and I'll be immediately replaying it in NG+. Absolutely incredible game.

Edit 2: 62 hours to 100%.

Very strong GOTY 2023 contender. I can see this being a genre-definer for semi-open-world FPP adventure/exploration games. It's not perfect (the voice acting for the Cat is particularly janky, and visual fidelity is kinda all over the place), but when it works, it's fantastic. Absolute delight.
