A good RPG, despite RPGMaker bursting at its seams to contain it. H-Scenes are also pretty good.

Fun, but very short and very easy.

Too many plot holes to be enjoyable, and the rest of the game didn't make up for it.

Update after having done more routes: S.F. route was the only saving grace... until the ending. Even then it was not worth the drugery to unlock it.
I literally do not have enough words to describe how much I hate this game and how much I hate that it made me waste 70 hours of my life. Don't buy this even if you're paid for playing it.

Update 2: the actual main mysteries that aren't obvious from the start if you ever consumed any media in your life never get resolved btw. Not a single reveal is shocking or unexpected if you have a bare modicum of awareness. Mentioning this game in the same breath as NieR, 13 Sentinels or Zero Escape is doing those games a disservice.

First scenario was OK but way too dragged out. Could easily be condensed 2-3x.
Not terrible, not great.

But the first route I did after unlocking chapter select (Slasher Route) is honestly some of the worst writing I've ever seen in a video game. Internally inconsistent even within the route (never mind across routes), no suspense, the twists were so transparent it felt even more dragged out than the original route.

I bought this hoping that Uchikoshi's involvement made for some good content but I don't know if I'll make it to the routes that he wrote.
This is worse than some of the worst fanfic I've read. I really, really hate this writing.

How did the French do it? How did they release one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time?

Pretty much every aspect of this game--story, OST, gameplay, UI--are all great. There's some minor map design gripes and at some points in the end/post-game you're a bit lost, but that's about it.

Perfection doesn't exist so this isn't a 10/10, but easily a 9/10.

It's good.

If you can get past the RPG Maker-iness and don't mind overly big areas, this is a pretty good RPG.
