The multiplayer part was something i'd almost missed was happening when this game was about to drop, but holy ♥♥♥♥ is it fun. This game, for the most part, feels like a more polished version of the first one, and some of the kits the returning character feels very similar (Since they have the same exact cards and all), but also very different because the entire kitset is not the same (Some cards aren't in the game, some cards are reworked into something else, some cards have newer, very cool synergies, etc) and the enemies they are dealing with are also very different. The new events are also really really cool.

iT'S SO GOOD. Such a charming game with great characters and a really really good story.

Game feels super clunky and old and yet it is still so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun

This game is great, it plays a bit like rimworld with quite a few differences, but does feel like it currently lacks quite a bit of features and polish a game like rimworld has, but looks much better and you can actually build a lot of really cool looking bases and towns. I would say that if you like rimworld this game should be worth the price, but if you don't, just wait for the full release IMO

My two biggest gripe with this game is that while I absolutely love the Z level, it actually is quite a hassle to go around the multiple levels to do stuffs that you need. I feel like it's quite clunky and the insides of building does not look as good or feel as good to micromanage as just the outside (Creating multiple basements and putting floors on the upper level and support beams on the lower level feels clunky to do for example?). My other gripe is that the AI is just dumb and will sometimes forget what you tell them to do and prioritize what is in their work priority if the thing you tell them to do takes too long, even when its just moving ONE pile of thing around.

But honestly, other than that the game feels great and has a lot more potential, but does feels light on content at the moment

Great Roguelike

The game world is super big and it's created as if it would simply function indefinitely automatically in a good way, you have factions minding their own business based on their belief and law, you can see cities and towns and their inhabitants doing their daily life and defending from bandits, wild animals, or whatever dangerous coming their way. Other than cities and towns there are also a lot of dangerous spots all over the map, places that the locals or the nearest cities talk about, whether they consist of dangerous local wildlife, locations of old technologies that might still be tightly guarded, figures that have a rewarding bounty on them among other treasures they might have, or other secrets or miscellaneous areas to explore. You're just living in the world, building up your squad and living however you want in the cruel unforgiving world that simply sees you as just another unit in its world and does not care about you, unless you go out and work towards changing how each factions and cities see you. The sheer amount of things you can do and places you can visit and explore that are mostly unique (Some ruins in certain areas might have the same building, loot and enemies, but most regions I visit usually have variety of different challenges and enemies), makes this game pretty damn fun and addicting.

Cons I can think of is that it might not run that smoothly on lower end PCs, especially when swapping between different squads in different regions. Also the game can get quite slow and grindy during certain parts but the highs definitely beat out the occasional lows
