I opened Slay the Spire 2 just to try one quick run.

Three hours later I’m still here, my coffee is cold, my responsibilities are ignored, and I’m arguing with myself about whether I should remove a card or upgrade it.

This game has the incredible ability to make you say “just one more run”… about 12 times in a row.

The deckbuilding is brilliant, the combos are addictive, and every time you think you’ve figured it out, the game humbles you with a new boss.

Highly recommended if you enjoy strategy, roguelikes, or destroying your own sleep schedule.

10/10 — I climbed the Spire and lost track of time.
