Set a default classification level for work items

Ensure your work items in a chosen space are always classified by setting a default classification level. What is a default data classification level?

You can set a default classification level for a space once your Organization admin has set up classification levels.

To set a default classification level, you must be a Space admin

To set a default classification level for a space:

  1. Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.

  2. Select Data classification from the sidebar.

  3. Choose the classification level you want to use as the default for issues in this space.

  4. Select Save.

To restrict individual work items within a space, use work item security schemes.
