You can adjust settings on your tablet to get more recommendations for what you like.
Add content providers
- At the top, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Manage content providers.
- Choose which providers you want suggestions from.
Tip: You might need to install an app from the provider. If the content requires a subscription, you must sign up for that service.
Erase past activity to reset recommendations
Important: Your Google Account saves your searches and other activity across Google products to “My Activity.” To reset your recommendations, erase your past activity and data. New activity prompts fresh recommendations.
Tip: When you delete a service, recommendations made by content providers aren’t reset.
How personalized recommendations work
Google provides recommendations based on:
- Your installed apps and selected content providers
- Your entertainment-related searches on Google Search or with the Google Assistant
- Content you purchase, rent, watch, read, save, or like on Google services
- Web & App Activity associated with your Google Account
