How to file a claim

All claims must be filed within 90 days of the incident.

You can file a Pixel Care+ claim in two ways:

Claim & coverage limits

  • Claim limits:
    • Pixel Care+: Unlimited Accidental Damage from Handling (“ADH”) and post-warranty mechanical or electrical breakdown claims.
    • Pixel Care+ with Loss and Theft: Unlimited Accidental Damage from Handling (“ADH”), other Physical Damage, and post-warranty Mechanical or Electrical Claims; Two (2) Loss and Theft claims per rolling 12 month period.
  • Coverage limits and exclusions: All exclusions and limitations can be found in full terms and conditions.

Repair claims

  • Repair eligibility: Walk-in repair is only available for select devices and failures. Walk-in repair locations aren’t available in all states.
    • Check repair locations here.
    • Call the repair center ahead of time to check parts availability.
  • Parts: Replacement parts used for repairs will come from authentic Google parts.

Replacement claims

  • Replacement location: If approved for a replacement, your replacement device must be shipped to the same country or region where you bought the coverage.
  • Replacement type: Claims may be fulfilled with new or refurbished devices and may be the same or similar model of like kind and quality.
  • Shipping times: Replacement devices typically ship the next business day.
  • Non-return fees: You can avoid a non-return fee by returning your damaged or malfunctioning device within 14 days.

Google Fi Pixel Care+ claim filing policy

For Fi group plans, only the device purchaser can file Pixel Care+ claims for the device.

“Find Hub” claim filing policy

For Pixel Care+ with Loss and Theft:

  • "Find Hub" must be enabled on your device at the time it's lost or stolen. Additionally, Find Hub must remain enabled throughout the entire duration of the claims process.
  • You must also file a police report for the lost or stolen device.
