This album blows me away with not just the virtuosity of the musicians, but the varied textures and soundscapes the journey takes us on. Some highly technical music can feel sterile, not at all so here. I'm immersed from the first track to the last! The filtered layers of ambiance and flowy guitar lines on "It's Not in The Cards" have such great contrast with the staccato of the bass and drums. The groove and soaring lead lines in "Shuffled Fate" conclude the album so perfectly. 11/10!
