Offline Journal
Offline Journal is a magazine printed each April and October - dedicated to documenting the development of contemporary photography in, from and of Wales.
Offline Journal and its publisher Brian Carroll engages with galleries and festivals around Wales to promote emerging and established photography talent to organise interviews, talks and photobook events.
The limited edition magazine features articles on photography projects, exhibitions and photobooks. Subscribers to the magazine also have the option to have early access to specially printed supplement publications in the form of Offline Essays - contemporary writing on photography; and Catalog - experimental exhibition catalogues to accompany small shows hosted in galleries or spaces around Wales.
Brian Carroll is a graphic designer working in print and video production, and is also a co-founder of Ffoton Wales - one of the first Podcasts produced in Wales back in 2014, featuring recorded conversations with talented photographers making work in Wales.
