DRM should be illegal. If we have devices that can copy information instantly, it’s not our fault that it’s incompatible with capitalism - seems like capitalism is incompatible with nature. Find a new business model.

And if you don’t want spyware on your machine you use AdGuardHome or PiHole

I have a 3-node Proxmox cluster with HA that is currently collecting dust because I overbuilt when rent was cheap and now I can’t afford to run it; so I’m running essential services on my desktop PC with Hyper-V and NONE OF THE NETWORKING MAKES ANY GODDAMN SENSE oh my god why can’t I get WSL2 and a VM to see the fucking LAN at the same time they don’t need to talk to each other I just need HomeAssistsnt and paperless to work from LAN devices why is this all so shit

They’re already monitoring us in our homes. What do you think Alexa was for? Why do you think every smart appliance connects to the cloud instead of a local hub now?

Assumption: The left are blue-haired SJW liberals and the USA tried to beat them up and take their property for not being on “their side” during the McCarthy era…you know, when men were men! They do wimpy and gay things. They’re also so DUMB and uncreative even though they think they’re so great, and they put DEI in video games and are groomers.
Fact: GWAR does GWAR things, like violence, gore, blood, piss, heavy metal, growling, screaming, loud, lights, electricity, power.
Incorrect Conclusion: GWAR is not left
They just can’t imagine leftist thinking being anything but the strawman set up by their propagandists

Notifications go through FireBase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android. They bounce off a Google server. Even from local, on-device apps.
Same with iOS.
They can read and store every one of them, and you don’t control the encryption keys.

Once you get used to doing this you don’t even need to buy additional spare underwear anymore

No, it’s incompetence to have the hubris to do this on purpose.

I dunno that “they’re open about it” makes it any better
Smart features aren’t what make appliances break. Give me a fridge and a washer with Matter/Thread for local sensor readings from HomeAssistant and a compressor/motor that doesn’t die after 3 years and I’ll give you the $3k for a fridge that you demand

Guys I’ve watched a LOT of Star Trek Tee En Gee with my dad when I was growing up and he loved it a lot and he said that someday we’d have holodecks and talking computers and the engineering we do today would be child’s play but guys now I can talk to the computer and it talks back guys it says it’s my friend and I don’t understand all the code it writes at all so this must be the magic future where things are so advanced guys we made it I’m so happy I can just ask daddy to go get me the thing I always wanted but we didn’t know how to make before guys but now it can and this lets me be the BEST engineer like Joey Laugh Orge but on earth and right now instead of in space but later and it’s all thanks to this robot I can totally trust and have to pay a subscription for but the future is nows guys it’s so obvious I can’t believe I’m alive to see it happen

Doesn’t piefed automatically change “th” into whatever the fuck that is? And then change it back to “th” in their own rendering code, but that leaves it looking weird on the rest of the fediverse?
Piefed seems kinda sus
Since Podman is based around systemd services managing the containers, why not have a look at systemd .service files? I know you can set dependencies in those and so you can say that your other containers can’t start unless gluetun successfully starts first.

My brain re-writes it from “our society must have regulations to prevent this!” to “we should seize the means of production to make sure this shit can never happen again.”

OpenAI looking for their own Bari Weiss

If you intentionally misinterpret it like you are trying to lawyer some cracks in the story, then yeah it does.
Seems pretty clear to me from the “…primary flight systems will run on specialized radiation-hardened hardware and rigorously maintained software” that they’re separate systems.
I mean you’d need to have both good and bad concrete on site and you’d need a mold of the dick so you could inject the good concrete into it but then pull it away after the bad stuff was in place around it and without forming and curing the dick first and then lowering it into place within the outer mold I don’t know how you’d do this
