I have over 15 years of experience in healthcare as a Certified Medical Assistant, with experience working in both New York and Louisiana. I began my medical career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing hands-on care for elderly patients who needed help with daily living. I have cared for individuals recovering from strokes and those living with dementia and Alzheimer's. I am comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, medication reminders, mobility, and companionship. I am also trained in proper lifting and safe patient care. I am currently in school working toward becoming a nurse and taking a short break from classes. Caring for others has always been close to my heart. I truly enjoy helping people feel safe, respected, and supported while bringing warmth and kindness into their day.

Alexa was wonderful with my mom. She was incredibly patient and understanding, especially since my mom has RA and dysphasia, and she always took the time to make sure my mom was comfortable and heard. She was punctual, attentive, and very intuitive about my mom’s needs, often recognizing when something was needed before my mom even had to ask. What meant the most to us was how much my mom genuinely enjoyed her company. Alexa has a warm personality and even bonded with our dogs, which made her feel even more like part of the household. We are very grateful for the care and kindness she showed our family.
