About Alondra

With nine years of experience, I am passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential through personalized support. I hold a college degree and speak both English and Spanish. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning, not just memorization. I adapt my teaching by actively listening to students and observing how they engage with new material, and I vary my strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, and I strive to build a collaborative environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets, so I can tutor at various locations. I can help with math courses for elementary, middle, high school, adult, and college students. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
