About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I'm a patient, dependable, and encouraging tutor who enjoys helping students of all ages succeed. I currently work as a Direct Support Professional, where I support individuals with learning new skills, staying organized, building confidence, and reaching personal goals. This experience has strengthened my teaching, communication, and adaptability skills. I offer tutoring for elementary, middle school, and high school students in reading, writing, math, homework help, study skills, and general academic support. I adjust my teaching style to fit each student's needs, whether they need step-by-step instruction, extra practice, or help staying motivated and organized. My goal is to improve understanding, confidence, and independent learning skills in a calm, supportive environment.
