Hello. My name is Henry. My primary background is in working with youth and young adults (13-24) experiencing homelessness. In my 8 years in that field, I worked with folks pertaining job readiness, tutoring and teaching, disability, emotional regulation, social skills, self advocacy, and more. After a life changing accident that resulted in me becoming a full time wheelchair user, I began working in disability advocacy, education, and care. I have learned so much from my lived experience as a member of the disability community has offered a unique lens as it relates to my work. Currently, I am a substitute teacher, and working on my teaching certification for a school for children and youth with disabilities. I am a problem solver by nature. I am full of joy, patience, and a passion for teaching. It brings me joy to watch someone gain confidence in their abilities.
