I'm not certified in home care, but do have much experience with elder care. My mother had lung cancer and my father had dementia. I also worked in a retirement facility as a licensed hairdresser. I helped with transportation to and from my shop. I have a lot of patience for those with limited abilities. I was also a certified teacher for special needs children which included helping with bathroom and other hygiene needs. I'm now retired from teaching but would like to work outside a classroom in order to help with the elderly, as that is where my heart now lies. I have references from two previous ladies I cared for. Last month, one passed away and the other moved to the other side of the mountains. They were very pleased with my care.
