About Carissa

Making a real difference in someone's life is what drives me. For the past four years, I've been dedicated to providing compassionate and detail-oriented care to adults and seniors. My college education, Bachelor of Science degree, major in Psychology, complements my hands-on experience in offering respite care, transportation, errands, personal care, medication administration, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. Understanding your loved one's preferences and history is important to me. I believe promoting independence is important, to encourage things they can still do. I provide verbal updates, text messages, or phone calls; whatever works best for your family. I can de-escalate stressful situations, handle confusion, and incorporate memory care activities. Supporting families and ensuring the well-being of those in my care is my priority, and I look forward to bringing peace of mind to your family, too.
