I work on an on call basis as a substitute for our local Intermediate Unit here in PA, ages preschool to 12th grade with individuals with developmental disorders, musculoskeletal diseases, and on various levels of the autistic spectrum. I do not have a formal degree in this style of work but I learn about each individuals needs, abilities, goals and preferences. I am fortunate to be able to make a quick connection and really enjoy the experience as well!

Carol was an instructor. The school is a post-secondary technical institution where I her supervisor. Carol worked for me for approximately two years, intermittently depending upon enrollment. The courses Carol taught were required core classes (Professional Career Success) and coursework contained in the Allied Health curriculum, including Medical Law, Ethics & HIPPA; Medical Terminology; and Anatomy & Physiology. Carol also worked in our GED Program as an instructor.
