About Griselda

I have 10 years of experience as an instructor & tutor. I first began tutoring in high school about the same time I began working as a lifeguard. By Junior year of high school, I obtained my certification so I could also be a swim instructor for children ages 3 - 14 on top of being a lifeguard and tutor. I continued to teach swimming lessons through my 1st year of university. I obtained my B. S. degree in Conservation & Wildlife Biology. During university, I tutored various subjects. Biology & mathematics for middle schoolers and high schoolers (can tutor up to Calculus 1 math). I also tutored Spanish for bilingual students from elementary through middle school. During college, as part of The Wildlife Society, I also organized & led "nature hikes" for pre-k - middle-schoolers where I taught basic ecology and skills to become plants and animals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was hired by a few families as part of "learning pods" to teach Spanish and lead educational nature.
