About Jen

I have been working with people with dementia for 9 years. I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner, which means I continuously participate in extensive hours of dementia training each year and have a significant amount of direct work experience. I have worked in ADH, nursing homes, and assisted livings. I also have experience facilitating dementia trainings and family support groups. I currently work full time 8-4 providing care consultations/support to families of people with dementia. I love my job but miss the direct interaction. I am looking for something on the side to help pay my student loans and thought this would be a good opportunity to keep up my professional skills as well as do something I love. My skills are in behavior management, communication, and social engagement. While I am comfortable providing light assistance/supervision for personal care, I am not a CNA so I would not be able to provide extensive personal care assistance. I am positive and reliable.
