Jerome is amazing! I hired Jerome through care.com when my 93-year-old father fell and ended up in the hospital with a fractured hip. After he was released, he moved back home to my mother, but was for the first time in his life confined to a wheelchair. Jerome immediately began working full-time five days a week as his primary caregiver, assisting him with bathing, physical therapy and learning a new way of being in which he could no longer walk. This was a long journey of many months for my father, and Jerome was there the entire time as his right hand man. Jerome‘s knowledge of caregiving and his ability to communicate well were some of his greatest assets. But I would say that Jerome‘s most important quality is his genuine intelligence and warmth which make him an extremely present and trustworthy person who had no problem making my parents feel comfortable and welcoming of him into their lives. My father loved having Jerome there, and I could see how his healing process was largely successful due to Jerome‘s presence and diligence helping him adapt and learn how to perform tasks on his own. Jerome pushed him in his physical therapy, taught him how to overcome his inability to walk in order to still perform basic life tasks for himself, and helped him gain the strength he needed to overcome this fall and fully heal at age 94. My mother also loved having Jerome‘s company and he often helped her with other tasks around the house when she asked. Jerome is a terrific conversationalist and always brings a spark of happiness and joy into the house. All of my family feel very fortunate to have found Jerome as my father‘s caregiver, and we could not be happier with how he helped my father get over this major hurdle in his later life. We highly recommend Jerome as a caregiver to anyone considering hiring him.

Jerome is an amazing caregiver. He took care of my husband, who had Parkinsonism and Lewy Body Dementia’s for many year’s until he recently passed away.  In over 2 1/2 years, Jerome NEVER missed a day of work and he only took 5 days off for a short vacation one time. Truly amazing!! He was exceptionally reliable, as well as knowledgeable and he was able to adeptly manage my husband’s care through all the phases of his disease until he passed away. Jerome is personable and easy to have around. He is trustworthy and honest and I knew that my husband and our home were completely safe in his care. I am so grateful that Jerome was there for us during some long and very difficult years and would have no hesitation hiring him again. Anyone would be lucky to be able to have Jerome caring for their loved one. 

We are so very grateful for Jerome's help.  My dad had Parkinson's disease and Jerome took care of him until he passed away.  Other than helping my dad with activities of daily living (showering, personal hygiene, changing clothes, etc), Jerome kept my dad safe from any falls. He also took my dad out on walks in a wheelchair and accompanied him to doctor's appointments. Occasionally, they would go out for lunch. I can honestly say that Jerome improved my dad's (and mom's) quality of life before his passing. Jerome brought peace to our home and deeply cared for my parents. He had such a positive attitude and my dad (who is normally very reserved) felt very comfortable with Jerome.

Jerome is family now! He helped us transition my Grandma home after she had a stroke and needed hands on help. He helped with mobility rehabilitation, meds, showers, cooking, doctors appointments... he is everything we could have wished for. My Grandma adores him, he's positive, motivating, reliable, timely, and 100% the best person we could have found for her. If we could keep him forever, we would!

Jerome took AMAZING care of my elderly father from the ages of 89-92.  Jerome was always cheerful, kind, extremely dependable, and very skilled in dealing with my dad who had mild dementia and later suffered a stroke. Jerome took my father out to lunch and to the race track! (my father loved the horses) and also took him on numerous wonderful walks around the neighborhood.  When my father had a stroke at age 91 and was in hospice in our home and confined to his bed and a wheelchair for over a year, Jerome was expert at administering all his medications,  dressing, grooming, lifting him, as well as keeping detailed and excellent records of his condition.  We always felt that my father was totally safe in Jerome's care. If you are lucky enough to have Jerome take care of your loved one, he comes with the highest endorsement!

We would highly recommend Jerome. We're an elderly couple who has been with Jerome for care-giving assistance. He has lengthy experience - and in this work that he loves. He is absolutely reliable. While his nature is very cheerful and lighthearted - he's always mindful of safety, and is very observant. He is energetic with a calm presence. We've been very pleased with Jerome's caring, and competence - and would recommend him positively!

Jerome was fantastic with my grandparents aged 97 and 98.  He has such a great personality and kept them engaged and happy.  He also was able to deal with some difficult personality characteristics of my grandmother.  We highly recommend Jerome, if you are looking for a great caregiver.

We have been in a transition period with my mother an interviewed Jerome for caregiving services. It was evident right away when speaking to him on the phone that he is professional and also very caring. We met with him and he was so genuine and respectful - something not always found in caregivers. Although my mother's needs changed, I would enthusiastically recommend him and would hire him without hesitation.

Jerome is currently caring for my Elderly Father and has for the past 4years.  It's very hard to find someone you would trust caring for your loved one. Jerome was my husband and my caregiver for over six months. From the beginning, we were aware of his excellent expertise - my husband calling him "the master". He is very professional; medications were administered as prescribed - he drove me to all appointments on time.He is totally trustworthy, and, for us brought fun as well as care. Our family thinks so much of Jerome that even though there are so many things to do one day after my father's passing away, I am writing this review because we care so much about Jerome. We couldn't imagine a better caregiver than Jerome. He is professional, compassionate, extremely competent, caring, patient, knowledgeable, dependable,  has initiative and great intuition. We trusted him immensely and although he had great independence because he proved to be worthy of that, he also knew when to contact us regarding my father's care.
