I have 10 years of experience caring for elderly, children and those with disabilities (mental and physical). I have worked in home care, facilities, and did 3 years in the emergency department. The ED was my dream job, but it just did not pay nearly enough for everything we did and the hours we worked. I have found that my favorite type of care is more 1 on 1. I have many years of experience with dementia/alzheimers. I find that patience and compassion is super important caring for those confused. They are no longer living in our reality so it's important to adapt to theirs. I love working with people so if you would love a reliable caregiver willing to keep your loved one at home as long as possible I would love to meet you!
