About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren. I have 7years experience working with children in a variety of settings including nannying, teaching preschool, and working with youth in residential care. I previously worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher and manager at Simply Giggle, and I have also nannied for two boys over the summer. I am in graduate school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My background includes training in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention, and I am also a Certified Wilderness First Responder. In addition, I'm ServSafe Management certified through my work as a cook in the military. Because of my grad school schedule, I'm currently looking for something in the afternoon. I'm more than happy to talk through options that work well for both of us! The week of May 15th, I am FT as I will be taking 3 online classes. This would be from morning to evening and date-nights. Due to experience my minimum is $24/hour. This can be negotiated but does increase with additional children.
