A couple of years ago I was recruited by my amazing BCBA boss who got me into the field of ABA. I have been working with a visual impaired individual who is on the ASD spectrum. We attended an access to technology course together designed for the the visually impaired to use the voiceover app on their iphones or ipads. I am now proficient in using voiceover. I have had success in behavior shaping without the use of visuals. I have a child of my own who has severe adhd and other disabilities. Im a single mom of 3 and have devoted my life to helping others with the tools I have gained over time. I also come from a family of teachers who taught in multiple countries and continents. I was passed on some teaching knowledge and an understanding of different cultures and perspectives. My family is from France and I myself grew up doing both the French and American curriculums in a multicultural school setting.
