About Nicole

For the past 10 years, I have been helping elementary students unlock their full potential. I am a certified teacher with a college degree. My approach focuses on building confidence and creating a supportive learning environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. I adapt my teaching by listening to your student, observing how they interact with new material, and varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is essential, and I provide regular updates to parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am willing to tutor at your home, online, a library, or a coffee shop. I can help with math, English, science, and study skills. I also hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
