About Prep Academy Tutors

Angela Glaviano is a dedicated mother, educator, and business owner born and raised in New Orleans. As the owner and director of Prep Academy Tutors of New Orleans, she provides personalized, high-quality academic support to students and families across the city she proudly calls home. Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and a Master of Arts in English. She is certified to teach elementary education, as well as English and business at the high school level. Throughout her career, she has taught grades 1-5 at respected New Orleans schools including St. Dominic School, Hynes Charter School, and the Academy of the Sacred Heart. With experience across diverse learning environments, Angela brings warmth, structure, and high expectations to her work. She is passionate about partnering with families to help students build confidence, skills, and a love of learning through individualized tutoring.
