Hello! My name is Sarah and I graduated from Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College) with my bachelors in nursing in 2021. I am a registered nurse in the state of PA. I currently work in hospice but I have worked as a school age (5-12) teacher at a daycare for 3 summers. This particular daycare had multiple students with special needs, including autism, ADHD, developmental delays, Down syndrome, and ODD. I always felt a special bond with these children, and love to help them learn and explore their world safely. I try to foster independence in these children and push them to try new things, when appropriate. I am also open to caring for special needs adults, but do not have explicit experience in this area, aside from my training as a registered nurse.
