The Trump Administration’s tariffs on imported vehicles and auto parts have introduced a high level of uncertainty for car shoppers. While vehicles built in the United States using primarily U.S.-sourced components may avoid most of the impact, many others—especially those assembled abroad—are at greater risk.
Importantly, these tariffs don't apply to vehicles that are already on dealership lots. For buyers looking to avoid the coming price increases, the following ten models are considered high risk for future tariffs because they are assembled outside the United States by foreign automakers. However, they are all currently in strong supply on the new-car market, per CarGurus listings data.
As with much concerning these auto import tariffs, the situation continues to evolve. These ten vehicles, however, appear to be likely candidates for added duty, given what we currently know.
